Hi, I’m Jack.
I’m a candid wedding videographer, which really just means I film what’s actually happening, not what I’ve asked you to do. I’m not going to make you re-walk down the aisle or pull you away from your guests for “one more shot.” If you don’t want to do something, we don’t do it. Simple as that.
Whether you’re the couple who lights up in front of a camera or the couple who’d rather forget it exists for the day, you’ll feel at ease with me. I’m not there to direct, I’m there to notice. The relaxed ones settle in fast. The camera-shy ones usually tell me afterwards they forgot I was even filming. That’s the whole idea.
JG Wedding Films is just me, no second shooter, no team, no agency. I take on a deliberately small number of weddings each year so I can give every couple my full attention, from our first chat right through to the final edit landing in your inbox.
On the day, I turn up early, stay low-key, and let things unfold naturally. Your vows, your speeches, the in-between moments nobody plans, that’s what I’m there for. I’ll probably well up during the speeches, for what it’s worth.

Common Questions
FAQ
Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, particularly for peak summer dates (May–September). That said, I always keep a few dates back for last-minute enquiries, so if your wedding is coming up soon, it’s still worth reaching out. I’ll always let you know honestly whether I’m available.
Yes, and this is something I am now offering as of 2027 for destination weddings. Travel costs will be extra and added onto packages. Destination Packages coming very soon.
Delivery is typically 4–6 months from your wedding date. I’m a solo filmmaker and I colour grade and edit every frame myself, that takes time to do properly. You’ll receive your film via a private Vidflow link, and USB delivery is available on all packages.
The Story gives you a rich, fuller highlight film (8–10 minutes) with more of your ceremony woven into the main film, plus your speeches delivered as a separate standalone film, it’s a brilliant, fuller record of your day. The Ever After goes much further: a 15+ minute feature film driven entirely by the real audio of your day, full ceremony, every speech in full, and a completely different pacing and style. It’s your wedding story told in full, not just the best bits.
Never. My whole approach is documentary, I find the real moments rather than creating them. You’ll barely notice I’m there, and your film will feel like your actual day, not a performance of it. If you hate being in front of a camera, that’s exactly why you should book me.
A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding, but can be paid upfront, or in instalments, whatever is easier for you. Everything is laid out clearly in your contract, which I’ll send over once we’ve had a chat and you’re happy to proceed.
